Book NowPenobscot River Whitewater Rafting Trip
Your day starts at 8:00 in morning where you will get fitted for all your gear and get a safety orientation by a Maine Registered Guide. Then you hope on a bus and we take you about 30 miles to the Put In at Mckay Station. There you meet your guide and practice paddling before you embark on the Class 5 section of West Branch of the Penobscot River. The Ripogeanous Gorge and The Cribworks offer thrilling rides in world class whitewater while requiring precise teamwork with your guide. Great views of Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State park fill the background with moose and eagles riverside almost daily. After the Class 5 section you will have the option to enjoy surfing and maybe some "extra" rafting activities. At the half way point we break for a riverside steak and chicken BBQ on an open maple wood fire. You will be ready for a nap, but we are not done yet.
